The Internazionali Femminili di Palermo 2009 was the 20th edition of the tennis clay court tournament for women in Palermo . It was part of the WTA Tour 2009 as a tournament in the International category . The tournament took place together with the ECM Prague Open from July 13th to 19th, 2009.

Defending champion in singles was Sara Errani and in doubles Sara Errani and Nuria Llagostera Vives .

In the singles Flavia Pennetta won against Sara Errani 6: 1, 6: 2 and in the doubles Nuria Llagostera Vives / María José Martínez Sánchez against Marija Korytzewa / Darya Kustova 6: 1, 6: 2.
