Jacobsdorf is a municipality in the Oder-Spree district in Brandenburg, east of Berlin . It is part of the Odervorland office .
geography
Jacobsdorf is located about 15 km west of the city center of Frankfurt (Oder) in a landscape created by the Weichselian glacial period on the Lebuser Platte at its transition to the Berlin glacial valley . The immediate vicinity of the place is dominated by agriculture and almost free of forests.
Community structure
According to its main statute, the municipality has the following districts:
- Jacobsdorf (about 700 inhabitants)
- Petersdorf (about 250 inhabitants)
- Pillgram (about 700 inhabitants)
- Sieversdorf (about 300 inhabitants)
In addition, there are the expansion of the Autobahn, Bahnhofssiedlung, Thomasaue and Vorwerk residential areas .
history
The village was probably founded around 1280. The place was first mentioned in 1343 under the name Jacobsdorph .
Jacobsdorf and its current districts have belonged to the Lebus district in the province of Brandenburg since 1817 and to the Fürstenwalde district in the GDR district of Frankfurt (Oder) from 1952 . The community has been in the Oder-Spree district in Brandenburg since 1993.
Sieversdorf was incorporated on October 26, 2003.

Attractions

- The village church Jacobsdorf is a stone church from the 13th / 14th centuries. Century. It was extended to the west after 1860 and received a boarded roof tower. On the outside of the church are three epitaphs from the end of the 18th century. It had three bronze bells until the Second World War . In 1942 all bells had to be delivered for non-ferrous metal extraction. However, two were not melted down and returned to the site; the third has been lost to this day.

The state road L 37 leads through Jacobsdorf from Petershagen on federal road 5 to Müllrose . The closest motorway junction is Müllrose on the A 12 .
The breakpoints Jacobsdorf (Mark) and Pillgram on the railway line Berlin-Frankfurt (Oder) are from the regional express line RE 1 Magdeburg -Berlin- Frankfurt (Oder) served.
