The canton of Pleslin-Trigavou (Breton: Plelin-Tregavoù ) is a French canton in the arrondissement of Dinan , in the department of Côtes-d'Armor and in the region of Brittany ; its main town is Dinan .

history

The canton was created with the reorganization of the cantons in France in 2015 with eleven municipalities. The communes used to belong to the cantons of Ploubalay (7 communes), Dinan-Ouest (3 communes) and Dinan-Est (1 commune).

The canton is located in the northeast of the Côtes-d'Armor department.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the four voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Françoise Bichon / Eugène Caro (both DVD) won against Raymond Armange / Hélène Coz (both PS ) with a share of the vote of 53.95% (turnout: 56.91%).
