The Kesselmühle (formerly also " Keßelmühle ") is a hamlet in the Cossengrün / Hohndorf / Schönbach district of the city of Greiz in the Greiz district in Thuringia . The settlement belongs to the Eubenberg district .

location

The boiler mill is located in the valley of the Triebitzbach. Eubenberg is to the north, Arnsgrün to the west and Schönbach, which also belongs to Greiz, to the east. On the Saxon side, Fröbersgrün joins it south .

history

In addition to the Kölbelmühle and the Steinermühle , the boiler mill was one of the grinders in the Triebitzbachtal. Over the years, other houses have been added to the location.

Initially, the boiler mill belonged to the municipality of Eubenberg, which came to the municipality of Arnsgrün in the district of Zeulenroda on July 1, 1950 . In 1997 this became part of the new municipality of the Vogtland Oberland . This was dissolved on December 31, 2012. Arnsgrün was incorporated into the city of Greiz after Zeulenroda-Triebes and Eubenberg with the boiler mill.
