The men's 400-meter hurdles at the 1995 World Athletics Championships was held from August 7th to 10th, 1995 in Gothenburg's Ullevi Stadium .

The American Derrick Adkins became world champion . He won before the 1991 world champion and 1993 vice world champion Samuel Matete from Zambia . Bronze went to Stéphane Diagana, who was third in the French European Championship in 1994 .
