The men's 5000-meter run at the 1995 World Athletics Championships was held on August 11 and 13, 1995 in Gothenburg's Ullevi Stadium .

In this competition, the long-distance runners from Kenya won two medals, gold and bronze. World champion was defending champion Ismael Kirui . Second place went to the Moroccan Khalid Boulami . Bronze went to Shem Kororia .
