Canada became world champions with the line-up of Robert Esmie , Glenroy Gilbert , Bruny Surin and Donovan Bailey .
Second place went to Australia with Paul Henderson , Tim Jackson , Steve Brimacombe and Damien Marsh .
Bronze went to Italy ( Giovanni Puggioni , Ezio Madonia , Angelo Cipolloni , Sandro Floris ).
