Marix Publishing House
The Marix Verlag (proper spelling marixverlag ) is an on intellectual-historical non-fiction and classic of the world literature specialized Verlag, Wiesbaden.
history
Marix Verlag was founded in 2003 in Wiesbaden by Lothar Wekel and Miriam Zöller. In 2013 Miriam Zöller gave her shares to Lothar Wekel, who has been running the publishing house alone since then. Since 2014 Marix Verlag has been under the umbrella of the Römerweg publishing house , managed by Lothar Wekel, which also includes Edition Erdmann , Verlag Waldemar Kramer , Weimarer Verlagsgesellschaft, Corso Verlag and Berlin University Press .

The main focus of the publisher's content is on non-fiction on topics such as philosophy, religion, history and topics from cultural history.
The popular science book series “marixwissen”, launched in 2006 in cooperation with the daily newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau , was particularly popular. The historian Helmut Neuhold , the Celtologist Helmut Birkhan , the philosophers Anton Grabner-Haider and Volker Zotz , and the theologian Michael Tilly wrote for the series .
