Montet-et-Bouxal ( Occitan : Lo Montet e Bojal ) is a French commune with 218 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Figeac and the canton Lacapelle-Marival (until 2015: canton Latronquière ).

Montet-et-Bouxal is about 26 kilometers west-southwest of Aurillac and about 15 kilometers north-northwest of Figeac . Montet-et-Bouxal is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Médard-Nicourby in the north and north-west, Gorses in the north and north-east, Saint-Cirgues in the east, Sabadel-Latronquière in the south and south-east, Sainte-Colombe in the south and south-west and Labathude in the West.
