Parish Church of Saint-Etienne
The construction of most of the current church means that it was built in the 11th century. The two chapels on the north and south sides were probably added in the 17th century. The bell tower was built around 1860, as evidenced by the date above its entrance. The church, in Romanesque style, consists of a single-nave nave , which ends with a flat apse , which is wider than the triumphal arch . The masonry of the 11th century consists entirely of rubble stones , carefully cut to size for the walls of the windows, doors and arches . Only the west facade of the bell tower is built with ashlar . The walls are embellished inside by painting the arches, double in the apse, single in the nave. Two pilasters optically separate the nave into two yokes . The height of the walls and their thinness suggest that the nave was once provided with a beamed ceiling. The apse is covered with a pyramidal dome . The two side chapels are provided with groined vaults.
