NGC 5007 is a 13.3 likes bright elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type e-S0 in the constellation Ursa Major , which is about 378 million light-years from the Milky Way's center.
The object was discovered on March 19, 1790 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "vF, vS".
