NGC 5028 is a 12.3 likes bright elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E6 in the constellation of Virgo and about 290 million light-years from the Milky Way center.
The object was discovered on May 12, 1882 by Ernst Wilhelm Leberecht Tempel .
