NGC 5035 is a 12.8 mag bright lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0-a in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 92 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 40,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 5030 , NGC 5037 , NGC 5044 , NGC 5047 .
The object was discovered by Edward Singleton Holden on March 17, 1881 .
