NGC 5052 is a 13.5 mag bright, lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble-type S0-a in the constellation Haar der Berenike in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 297 million light years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on April 10, 1831 by John Herschel .
