NGC 5041 is a 13.4 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Haar der Berenike in the northern sky . It is an estimated 335 million light years from the Milky Way and about 165,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 5056 , NGC 5057 , NGC 5065 .

The object was discovered by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest on April 19, 1865 .
