NGC 5013 is a 15.1 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Virgo to the ecliptic . It is an estimated 368 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxy NGC 5050 is located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on April 30, 1864 .
