Bruchwald nature reserve / beech trees near Enste

The nature reserve Bruchwald / beech stock near Enste with a size of 1.5 hectares is located in the Arnsberger Wald nature park west of Enste in the urban area of Meschede . The area was designated as a nature reserve (NSG) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 1994 with the Meschede landscape plan.

Area description

The NSG is forest areas. There is a beech population and a red alder in the forest . Rare animal and plant species are found in the NSG.

Protection purpose

The NSG is supposed to protect the forest with its species inventory.

As with all nature reserves in Germany, the protection designation pointed out that the area became a nature reserve “because of the rarity, special character and beauty of the area”.
