Nina Petrovna Rotschewa ( Russian Нина Петровна Рочева * 13. October 1948 in Pokschai , Kirov Oblast as Nina Seljunina ) is a former cross-country skier who for the Soviet Union took.
Rotschewa first appeared internationally at the 1972 Winter Universiade in Lake Placid . There she won bronze over 5 km, silver over 10 km and gold with the relay. At the 1974 World Ski Championships , she won the gold medal with her teammates Nina Baldytschewa , Raissa Smetanina and Galina Kulakowa in the relay competition. At the World Ski Championships four years later she was eighth in the individual race over 10 kilometers. The season over four times 5 kilometers with Sinaida Amossowa , Smetanina and Kulakowa she ended by winning the bronze medal. Rotschewa also qualified for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. In the individual competition over 5 kilometers she landed in 15th place; in the relay race she was second with Baldytschewa, Kulakowa and Smetanina. At Svenska Skidspelen she won 1975, 1977 and 1979 with the relay. She also finished third in the relay at the Lahti Ski Games in 1973 and first in the relay in 1979.
Rotschewa won three national championship titles in the course of her active career: 1978 over 30 kilometers as well as in the relay and in 1980 again in the relay competition.
Rotschewa is married to the former cross-country skier Vasily Rotschew .
