Orval sur Sienne is a French commune with 1,150 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Coutances and the Canton of Coutances . The inhabitants are called Orvalais .
geography
Orval sur Sienne is located about seven kilometers south-southwest of Coutances on the Sienne and Soulles , which together flow into an estuary to the English Channel. Orval-sur-Sienne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bricqueville-la-Blouette in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Coutances in the northeast, Saussey in the east, Quettreville-sur-Sienne with Contrières in the south, Montmartin-sur-Mer in the west as well Heugueville-sur-Sienne in the north-west.
