Pölstal is a market town in the Murtal district in Styria .
geography
Community structure
The municipality of Pölstal was created at the beginning of 2015 as part of the municipal structural reform in Styria from the municipalities of Oberzeiring , Bretstein , Sankt Johann am Tauern and Sankt Oswald-Möderbrugg, which were dissolved at the end of 2014 .
She took over the rank of market town from Oberzeiring .
The municipal area comprises nine localities (population in brackets as of January 1, 2020):

The former parishes are run as districts , with Sankt Oswald and Möderbrugg, which were united in 1850, are separated again.
The community consists of the six cadastral communities Bretstein , Möderbrugg , Oberzeiring , St. Johann Schattseite , St. Johann Sonnseite and St. Oswald .
