Peypin-d'Aigues is a French municipality with 674 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Vaucluse in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the canton of Pertuis in the Apt arrondissement .
geography
Peypin-d'Aigues is located in the southeast of the Vaucluse department about twelve kilometers northeast of the city of Pertuis . Neighboring communities are Saint-Martin-de-Castillon in the north-west, La Motte-d'Aigues in the west, Saint-Martin-de-la-Brasque in the south-west, Grambois in the south and Vitrolles-en-Lubéron in the east. A short stretch of the northern border is formed by the municipality of Céreste in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department .
The height of the municipality ranges from 349 meters in the valley area up to 1040 meters in the mountains of the Grand Luberon . The Mairie is at an altitude of 400 meters . The parish is part of the Luberon Regional Park . The west flowing past on the village stream Ruisseau des Hermitans has a length of 6.4 km and flows Grambois in Eze .

The départementale D42, which runs through the town center on a west-east axis, connects the municipalities of La Motte-d'Aigues and La Bastide-des-Jourdans . From this the D122 branches off and heads south to Grambois.
