Pinn is the southernmost part of the community Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Pinn lies on the slopes of the Bergisches Land east of the Wahnbachtalsperre . Distant neighboring towns are Wolperath in the northeast, Remschoß in the east and Heisterschoß in the southeast.

history

Until 1969 the village belonged to the municipality of Neunkirchen .

In 1830 Pinn had 41 inhabitants. In 1845 the farm had 38 Catholic and one Protestant residents in nine houses. In 1888 there were 40 residents in ten houses.

In 1910 the day laborer Peter Fuhrbach, the peasant widow Peter Wilhelm Fuhrbach, the plowman Josef Heister, the plowwoman widow Johann Halm, the carter Johann Klein, the factory worker Heinrich Josef Pütz and the shoemaker Josef Schmitz lived in Pinn .
