Pippi Longstocking is an animated series by the director Michael Schaack , which was produced in Canada, Germany and Sweden from 1997 .

The animated series takes place exactly after the film and is also freely based on the Pippi Longstocking novels by Astrid Lindgren .

action

Pippi Longstocking is a very unconventional girl, which you can see in her clothes: large shoes , two different colored stockings and a short dress with a patch. Most noticeable, however, are her red hair with two protruding braids .

But not only their looks are exceptional. Pippi doesn't think much of proper and standardized behavior either. She likes to try things out her own way. Every day she can sacrifice herself for people, tell stories, cook, play and much more.

When she moved into the Villa Kunterbunt one fine day, she met the neighborhood children Tommy and Annika. The children quickly become friends. And thanks to Pippi's ingenuity, they experience a lot of adventures.
