The 1st Planica 7 2018 was a series of ski jumping competitions that took place as the World Cup finals of the 2017/18 World Cup season between March 22nd and 25th, 2018. The competitions were held on the Letalnica bratov Gorišek ski jumping hill in Planica , Slovenia .

qualification
The qualification for the first individual competition took place on March 22, 2018. During the qualification the Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer jumped to 253.5 meters and set the world record distance of his compatriot Stefan Kraft . The jump was not considered a record because Schlierenzauer fell on landing.

The first individual competition took place on March 23, 2018.
Team competition
The team competition took place on March 24, 2018.
Individual competition II
The second individual competition took place on March 25, 2018. Since this was the final competition of the World Cup season, traditionally only the best 30 jumpers of the overall World Cup stand were allowed to start. For this reason there was no qualification for this competition.
