Sri Lankan national cricket team in Bangladesh in the 2008-09 season

The tour of the Sri Lankan national cricket team to Bangladesh in the 2008-09 season took place from December 23, 2008 to January 14, 2009. The international cricket tour was part of the 2008/09 international cricket season and included only two test matches , both won by Sri Lanka.

prehistory

Bangladesh previously played a tour against South Africa and Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2007 season in Sri Lanka . Immediately afterwards, both teams will hold a three-country tournament together with Zimbabwe .
