Geographical location
Physical geography
Tudela is located in the south of the Navarra region in the Ebro Valley at an altitude of 275 m. The city is dominated by the Sagrado Corazón monument, which was built on the castle ruins.

history
- 11th century. First documentary evidence of the city's existence.
- 1119 Conquest by King Alfonso I "el Batallador", King of Pamplona and Aragon.
- 1808 Battle of Tudela , on November 23rd, a Spanish army under General Francisco Javier Castaños is defeated by a French army led by Marshals Lannes and Moncey near the city .
- From 1784 to the Concordat of 1851, the city was the seat of a Roman Catholic diocese .
