Valerija Dmitrijewna Savinych ( Russian Валерия Дмитриевна Савиных ; born February 20, 1991 in Sverdlovsk , Soviet Union ) is a Russian tennis player.

Career

Sawinych started playing tennis at the age of five. So far she has won six singles and 21 doubles titles at ITF tournaments.

In 2012 she reached the second round as a qualifier at the WTA tournament in Miami , in which she lost to Samantha Stosur 4: 6 and 0: 6. In 2013, she achieved her best result so far in a Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open , when she entered the third round in the singles there.

She achieved her best world rankings in April 2012 with position 99 in singles and in November 2017 with position 98 in doubles.
