In 2014 she won her first professional title and in the same year made her debut on the WTA tour at the Kremlin Cup in Moscow after receiving a wildcard for the qualification in which she was eliminated in the second round .

In 2016, Kudermetowa won her first two tournaments in the $ 25,000 category and reached two more finals and was able to triumph in a tournament of the WTA Challenger Series in Taipei alongside Natela Dsalamidse in the doubles competition. The following year, she competed for the first time in the qualification of a Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open 2017 and lost her opening game. Kudermetowa also failed to qualify for the other three Grand Slam tournaments. At the end of the season, she again achieved her best result of the season in the singles in Taipei , reaching the quarter-finals. She also defended her doubles title there with Aryna Sabalenka .

In 2018, Kudermetowa was able to successfully qualify for the main round of a WTA tournament in Stuttgart for the first time and, after an opening win against Carla Suárez Navarro , immediately reached the second round, in which she was defeated by the eventual tournament winner Karolína Plíšková . She then advanced to the quarter-finals in 's-Hertogenbosch and Gstaad and won two more double titles in a row at the end of the season at the WTA Challengers in Mumbai , again together with Natela Dsalamidse, and Limoges , together with Galina Voskobojewa .

The following year, after another quarter-finals at the beginning of the season in Shenzhen, she made it into the top 100 of the tennis world rankings and subsequently qualified for the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open 2019 , but was defeated by Sofia in the first round Kenin . She then won her biggest title to date at the WTA Challenger in Guadalajara after winning the final over Marie Bouzková . At the French Open , she beat Caroline Wozniacki at the start and reached the third round for the first time, in which she was eliminated by Kaia Kanepi . After she came in 's-Hertogenbosch, Hiroshima and Tianjin each semi-finals, defeating in Wuhan with Belinda Bencic the first time a top 10 player. There she won her biggest doubles title to date alongside Duan Yingying ; in the final the two defeated Aryna Sabalenka and Elise Mertens . By moving into the quarter-finals in Moscow , where she beat another player from the top 10 against Elina Switolina , she moved into the world's top 50 for the first time at the end of the season.

At the beginning of 2020, Kudermetowa was in her fourth WTA semi-final in Hobart and achieved her highest world ranking position to date with 38th place. In February, after three successful matches in qualifying at the WTA tournament in Dubai, she defeated the better placed Dayana Yastremska and only just lost in three sets against Gabrine Muguruza.
