Vessin and Reitz were fiefs those of Woyten , then those of Somnitz and von Krockow and then the property of Colonel Friedrich Asmus of Bandemer .

In 1781 Vessin and Reitz were sold to Major Georg Ludwig von Katzler . At that time, the place had two outworks , a preacher, a sexton, two farmers and a half- farmer , four cottages and a water mill with a total of 22 fireplaces (households).

At the beginning of the 19th century it belonged to Vessin Friedrich Wilhelm Arnold (he was mayor of the city of Stolp in 1827 and 1846), then his son. The last owner family was the von Goerne family . In 1938 the manor had an operating area of 875 hectares.

Until 1945 Vessin belonged with the communities Reitz (Redzikowo), Vilgelow (Wielogłowy) and Warbelow (Warblewo) to the administrative district Reitz in the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin of the Prussian province of Pomerania . Also a civil Vessin was associated with Reitz. District court district was Stolp .

On March 8, 1945, the Red Army occupied Vessin. In June 1945 the Poles came to the village and the population began to be driven out due to the Bierut decrees . Until 1957, however, there were still numerous German families in the place now called Wieszyno . church

Parish church

The Vessiner church dates from the Gothic period. The foundations are made of field stones, the walls of bricks in a Gothic bond . The massive tower on the west side is "block-like heaviness on a square floor plan rising straight-walled, much too heavy for the little church, which it almost crushes" (Heinrich Schulz).

The nave is connected to the tower as a rectangular room without a choir extension. The interior of the church has a flat wooden ceiling. It was entered from the tower through an arched opening. The altar and pulpit date from the middle of the 17th century.

Until 1945, the church had been a Protestant place of worship since the Reformation. In 1980/81 it underwent a restoration, during which it was also added to the choir, and since 1981 it has been known as the Catholic church, bearing the name of Saint Ursula Ledóchowska .
