At Find A Grave , a William Bull is mentioned, who lived from 1789 to 1838 in South Carolina and was murdered by his servants. A reference to the lieutenant governor discussed here is not mentioned, but is also conceivable.

One thing is certain: at least Bull lived temporarily in South Carolina and was a member of the once of Thomas Jefferson founded the Democratic-Republican Party . Between 1816 and 1824 he was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives . In 1824 he was elected lieutenant governor of his state by the South Carolina General Assembly , alongside Richard Irvine Manning . He held this office between December 3, 1824 and December 9, 1826. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate . Then his track is lost again.
