Appearance

The Yamaha TDR 125 gets its characteristic appearance from its two large front headlights. Its size is based on the larger displacement models from Yamaha. Since the TDR 125 has been built since the late 1980s, the design also unmistakably dates back to that time, but is still felt by many to be timeless.

technology

The TDR 125 has an unusually powerful engine in this displacement class, but in Germany and other countries it was delivered with a cone in the exhaust manifold that was throttled to 15 hp. As a result, the motorcycle meets the requirements to be driven with an A1 driver's license. A modified black box was also installed for young people under the age of 18 , which limited the motorcycle to a top speed of 110 km / h. In the open version without throttles, the TDR 125 has around 24 hp and may only be driven in Germany from driving license class A2.

Executions

The TDR 125 Belgarda is a rare special version . This was built by the Italian Yamaha branch "Belgarda" and differed in some optical details from the Yamaha version. Among other things, a Brembo brake system is installed here and a tubular steel frame is to be found instead of the aluminum Deltabox frame.

equipment

Many suppliers offer accessories for the TDR 125, including: a. other chain sprockets, exhaust system, inlet membrane and much more
