The Yamaha DT 80 MX is a light motorcycle from the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha and designed as an enduro .

history

The DT 80 MX is based on the DT 80, which was built until 1980 and was only offered in the UK in Europe. Despite being street legal, it was designed for pure terrain.

It was offered in white, black, red and blue.

The DT 80 MX is technically closely related to the road model RD 80 MX . It was replaced by the more powerful, water-cooled DT 80 LC .

technology

The DT 80 MX was equipped with an air-cooled two-stroke engine. It has drum brakes at the front and rear and 6 V electrics. The chassis consists of a tubular frame with telescopic fork at the front and cantilever suspension at the rear.
