The TX 750 is a touring motorcycle from the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha . The machine with an air-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke engine was built between 1972 and 1974.

Air-cooled two-cylinder engine ( parallel twin / synchronous rotor), transversely installed, an overhead camshaft (OHC) driven by a single roller chain , 2 valves per cylinder operated via rocker arms, electric and kick starter , primary drive via straight-toothed spur gear , dry sump lubrication (oil content 3 liters)
Yamaha "Omni-Phase-Balancer-System": two balance shafts with different weights to dampen vibrations , the larger of which runs opposite the crankshaft and is driven by a roller chain.
