Yamaha XJ 750 Seca

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The XJ 750 Seca was launched in 1982 and built directly on the technology of the XJ 650 .

However, because of the design based on American taste - it was named after the Californian race track Laguna Seca Raceway near Monterey (California) - it was not a particularly successful model in Germany. About 3000 pieces were sold in total. It was therefore replaced by the Yamaha XJ 750 F in 1984 .

In terms of design, the XJ 750 Seca, in contrast to its sporty predecessor, the XJ 650, was more of a chopper . In addition, Yamaha used it as a technology carrier and gave it some technical features, such as an on-board computer, anti-dive system and external parking lights.
