The XV 125 Virago (also: Virago 125, the model name "XV" is the German model name) is a cruiser motorcycle by the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha , which was produced from 1997 to 2002. The XV 125 Virago is, apart from the 125 cm³ smaller displacement, identical to the larger sister model Yamaha XV 250 Virago.

The Virago 125 is equipped with an air-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke engine, which initially developed an output of 7.3 kW / 10 PS (1997) and later an output of 8.3 kW / 11.4 PS (1998–2002). The power is transmitted to the road through a five-speed chain transmission.
