The southern portion of Los Angeles includes some of the city's most historic sites, including National Historic Landmarks. The three sites receiving the highest designation are: (1) the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, built in 1923, and used as the principal site of the 1932 and 1984 Summer Olympic Games; (2) the Watts Towers (HCM #15), a collection of 17 interconnected structures, two of which reach heights of over 99 feet (30 m), built by Italian immigrant construction worker Simon Rodia in his spare time from 1921 to 1954; and (3) Baldwin Hills Village (HCM #174), an innovative planned community built in the 1930s with vast open grassy areas and trees.

Afghanistan
The majority of the historic sites in the South Los Angeles area are concentrated in the West Adams district, along a three-mile stretch of West Adams Boulevard between Arlington Avenue and Figueroa Street. Though South Los Angeles is now considered one of the poorer sections of the city, the West Adams district was one of the city's most affluent areas from the 1890s through the 1920s. As the city boomed, its wealthy residents built elaborate mansions throughout the area. There are more than 60 Historic-Cultural Monuments in West Adams, including some of the city's most reknowned landmarks, such as the Oliver G. Posey-Edward L. Doheny Residence (HCM #30), the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library (HCM #28), Stimson House (HCM #212), Frederick Hastings Rindge House (HCM #95), Forthmann House (HCM #103), and the birthplace of two-time U.S. Presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson (HCM #35).

ROYCE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

The main aim of our school is to deliver individualized learning development and care that enhances each child’s development. Our curriculum is based on the early learning goals prescribed by educationist where each child will be supported to make progress at their own pace. Our school admits children in the playgroup and nursery age group

Our pre school setting is based on the principle of learning i.e. simple to complex, concrete to abstract, here now to there then.

Our kindergarten teachers ensure that our children are competent learners and that they meet the goals set out for their age group

We understand that each child is different at different stages and the activities planned for them will be in such a way that it will develop the five areas of development like gross and fine motor, language, cognitive social and emotional and creative development

Our teachers are experienced adults in the field of early childhood education and we assure that our children will have free childhood and our teachers will do their best to see that their children learn in each and every possible ways

By understanding various styles that involve children in learning our teachers will encourage and increase each and every child’s curiosity creativity independence and co-operation and persistence which are the approaches that enhance early learning

We have many activities planned for our children that will taught to them with the help of INFORNATION TECHNOLOGY

The information technology will enable our children to carry out task that they might otherwise not have been able to tackle

These activities will boost their self confidence self esteem and reinforce skills which they find it difficult to master
