The 2015/16 ÖHB Cup is the 29th edition of the men's handball cup competition.
Main rounds
1 round
Five representatives from the regional associations took part in the first round. The home team was always the first to be drawn. WAT Fünfhaus Handball, HIB Handball Graz and Sportunion Edelweiß Linz were assigned a bye.

2nd round
16 clubs took part in the 2nd round: the two newly promoted HLA teams, all teams in the Handball Bundesliga Austria and the winners of the 1st round. First of all, opponents were drawn to the national league teams, then the remaining teams, with the lower division clubs having home rights.

The remaining eight teams in the first division started the competition from here.
