The 1936/37 season of the 1st league ( Czech Státní liga ) was the first regular staging of the top ice hockey division in Czechoslovakia . With 13 points, LTC Prague won the first Czechoslovak championship , which was played within a national league. The SK Slavia Prague rose after losing the decider from around the league whereabouts.

The champions of the 1936/37 season were LTC Prague, who finished the season played in a simple round with a total of 13 points and thus one point ahead of HC Sparta Prague . In the relegation battle, SK Slavia Prague lost 1-0 to BK Mladá Boleslav, who had previously remained pointless in seven games, in the playoff . The league's top scorer was Josef Maleček from LTC Prague, who scored 16 goals in seven league games.
