The 1981/82 season of the first division was the 39th regular staging of the top ice hockey division in Czechoslovakia . The army sports club Dukla Jihlava prevailed with 74 points . For the team it was their eighth Czechoslovak championship title .

mode

As in the previous season, the league was played with twelve teams. Since each team played two home and two away games against each group opponent, the total number of games per team was 44 games. Champion became the winner of the main round. The bottom of the table was relegated directly to the respective national championship.
