The season 1946/47 of the 1st division was the fourth regular staging of the top ice hockey division in Czechoslovakia . With a 10-0 win and a 5-8 defeat, LTC Prague prevailed in the final against I. ČLTK Prague and thus also won the fourth edition of the 1st division. For the capital city, it was already their ninth Czechoslovak championship title .

mode

As in the previous season, the league was played in two groups. As HC Stadion Prague merged with HC Podolí Prague shortly before the start of the season , the number of participants in Group A fell from six to five. Since each team played against each group opponent once, the total number of games per team in the main round was four or five games. The two group winners qualified for the final for the championship title. The last placed in group A and the two worst placed teams in group B relegated to the regional championship.

In the final, the winner of the A group, LTC Prague, prevailed with a big home win and a defeat due to the better goal difference against their city neighbor I. ČLTK Prague. The top scorer in the league was Vladimír Zábrodský from LTC Prague, who scored 17 goals in his team's six games.

1st league qualification

The teams from ČSK Říčany and SK Slavia Prague played for admission to the 1st division for the following season. Říčany won 4-2.
