Alva is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lee County in the US state of Florida with 2596 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
Alva is located in southern Florida and about 20 km east of Fort Myers on the Caloosahatchee River . Tampa is 130 miles away and Miami is 130 miles away.
climate
The climate is mild and warm, light with a light wind. Statistically, it rains an average of 45% of the days in the summer months, even if only for a short time. The highest temperatures are in May to October, with up to 33 ° C. The coldest months from December to February with an average of only 17 ° C. Snowfall is almost unknown in the region.
