At this “Federal Election Congress” of the FDP, the federal election of 1965 , the “Decision 65”, was prepared. Willi Weyer , Ewald Bucher and Erich Mende spoke . The party chairman Mende and his deputy Weyer spoke out in favor of a continuation of the government coalition with the CDU / CSU after the federal elections on September 19.
