The Free Democratic Party held the federal party congress of the FDP in 1959 from May 21 to 23, 1959 in Berlin . It was the 10th ordinary federal party conference of the FDP in the Federal Republic of Germany .

Course and resolutions

The party congress advised u. a. on the "Berlin Declaration" on Germany policy, the election of the Federal President to succeed Theodor Heuss and the candidacy of Max Becker . He also passed resolutions on social and domestic policy.

The party chairman Reinhold Maier and his deputies Mende, Kohut and Leverenz were confirmed in their offices.
