The Free Democratic Party held the federal party convention of the FDP in 1958 from March 28 to 29, 1958 in Düsseldorf . It was the 9th ordinary federal party conference of the FDP in the Federal Republic of Germany .

The party congress discussed, among other things, the German government's policy on Germany and the question of reunification through referendum , the possible nuclear armament of the Bundeswehr and the creation of a nuclear weapon-free zone in Central Europe as well as the problem of coal and steel participation . Federal Managing Director Werner Stephan made a report on the state of the party.
