The Federal Congress of the FDP in 1960 held the FDP from 28 to 29 January 1960 in Stuttgart from. It was the 11th ordinary federal party conference of the FDP in the Federal Republic of Germany .

Erich Mende (1961)

The most important item on the agenda was the election of Erich Mende instead of Reinhold Maier as federal chairman . Maier was unanimously elected honorary president. In the main speech of the party congress, the new chairman, Mende, spoke primarily on the Berlin question .
