The Federal Congress of the FDP in 2012 held the FDP on 22 April 2012 in Karlsruhe from. It was the 63rd ordinary federal party conference of the FDP in the Federal Republic of Germany .

Course and resolutions

At the party congress, after a two-year debate and extensive membership participation, the “ Karlsruhe Theses of Freedom ”, the new basic program of the FDP, were decided. The parliamentary group leader Rainer Brüderle gave a keynote address. Patrick Döring was elected Secretary General - he had already held this position on a provisional basis since Christian Lindner resigned in December 2011. Otto Fricke was elected the new treasurer.
