The Federal Congress of the FDP in 1981 held the FDP from 29 to 31 May 1981 in Hall 8 at Koelnmesse in Cologne from. It was the 32nd regular federal party conference of the FDP in the Federal Republic of Germany .

Delegate key

A total of 400 delegates were invited to the federal party conference . According to the membership of the regional associations on December 31, 1979 (200 delegates) and the number of votes (200 delegates) in the federal election of October 3, 1976 (Berlin: election to the House of Representatives on March 18, 1979 ), the regional associations stood for the term of office of the delegates who began on May 1, 1980 and ended on April 30, 1982, entitled to the following delegate rights. The calculation by the federal office took place on January 25, 1980 and was communicated to the regional associations.

decisions

At the federal party congress , the federal executive submitted a motion on “Environmental Policy for the 1980s - Ecological Action Program” and the “Liberal Theses on Combating Drug Addiction and Drug Crime - Anti-Drug Program of the FDP”. The introductory speeches were given by Gerhart Baum (Environment) and Andreas von Schoeler (Drugs). The party congress also adopted papers on "Politics for Peace and Security", on the continuation of a peacekeeping development policy, on foreign policy, on European policy and passed a decision on the trend towards "Global 2000".

Due to the murder of Heinz-Herbert Karry , who was re-elected as Federal Treasurer at the 31st National Party Congress in 1980 in Munich , a new item on the agenda (by-election of a Federal Treasurer) was added on May 18, in accordance with Section 20 of the Federal Statutes. Richard Wurbs was elected as the new federal treasurer .
