The repetition of Europe Day 2004 of January 2004 was held by the FDP on March 28, 2004 in Bonn . It was a federal representative assembly to draw up the list for the 2004 European elections . The meeting took place in the new plenary hall of the Bundeshaus ( International Congress Center Bundeshaus Bonn ).

Due to a formal error in the election on Europe Day on January 17, 2004 , the Federal Representative Assembly had to be repeated a good two months later and took place in Bonn. The election of Silvana Koch-Mehrin from Baden-Württemberg as the top candidate as well as Alexander Graf Lambsdorff from North Rhine-Westphalia and Jorgo Chatzimarkakis from Saarland in the other places for the European elections in June 2004 was confirmed.
