Bang Na ( Thai : บางนา , bāːŋ nāː ) is one of the 50 districts (Khet) in Bangkok , the capital of Thailand .
geography
The neighboring districts are clockwise from the north: Phra Khanong and Prawet , in the province of Samut Prakan are Amphoe Bang Phli , Amphoe Mueang Samut Prakan and Amphoe Phra Pradaeng .
history
Bang Na was once a sub-district of Phra Khanong. On March 6, 1998, it became a separate district.

The extension of the Sukhumvit line of the Bangkok Skytrain from On Nut to Bearing (Sukhumvit Soi 107) went into operation on August 12, 2011. With this extension there are three new stations in Bang Na: Udom Suk, Bang Na and Bearing.
