Przeworsk district
The Przeworsk district was a political district in the crown land of Galicia and Lodomeria . Its territory covered parts of western Galicia in what is now Poland ( Powiat Przeworsk ), the seat of the district administration was the Przeworsk market . After the First World War , Austria had to cede the entire district to Poland, here large parts can be found today in the powiat Przeworski .
It bordered in the northeast and east on the Jaroslau district , in the south on the Przemyśl district , in the southwest on the Rzeszów district and in the northwest on the Łańcut district .
history
A forerunner of the later district (administrative and judicial authority at the same time) was created at the end of 1850, the district administration Przeworsk was subordinate to the government area Kraków and comprised the following judicial districts:
- Przeworsk judicial district
- Próchnik judicial district
- Leżaysk judicial district
- Grodzisko judicial district
After the announcement in 1854, the Przeworsk District Office (still responsible for administration and jurisdiction) within the Rzeszów district was established on September 29, 1855 .
The district office was then dissolved on February 28, 1867 and the district area was incorporated into the Łańcut District .
The district was created on November 1, 1899 when the Przeworsk judicial district left the Łańcut district.
